What are the
Visiting Artists Workshop Series?
This is an exciting component of our lesson programs!
We bring professional musicians to the MusicMakers Academy to conduct
workshops with our students. Eash workshop is followed by a performance.
We feel that it is important for our "musicians in training" to have
an opportunity to see and hear professional musicians "live and in person".
In the past we have hosted Broadway sensation, Diane
Findlay, the Boston
a cappella/modern rock group, Five O' Clock
Shadow, and Spectral
Voices.
When is the
next workshop?
Our next workshop will be on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 3pm. We are excited to have the fabulous guitar duo, Judy Handler and Mark Levesque, who will give a dynamic concert. The guitarists will also be answering audience questions, and talking about their music. As always, children are not only welcome...they are expected!
